    I ordered it as well.  I missed the Kickstarter and really wanted the physical copy that was the $62 tier.  The collectors edition is the same exact one except it includes a SNES cart as well so I see this as a sweet deal.

    Doom 3 was released by Activision, this version is an Ubisoft release who invested money in updating the game. It would be a complete loss for them to do a free update. Of course I could be wrong about this and if so please feel free to kick me in the head.

    These games are only fun for people that love amazing stories, lovable and complex characters, and fun and strategic combat. They are also only going to give a few hundred hours of play so I am not sure this is a good deal.
