My local Best Buy and Meijer stores have had the previous gen hardware discounted for about a week. As for Apple, I believe they move all the old iPods to the refurb store and sell it discounted as refurbished, even though they're still brand new.

I played a whole lot of Generations back in high school. My friends and I spent more time with that than Jetters, so I'd definitely recommend Generations.

The VW models from Walmart don't have audio out, so if that's important to you you'll want to find your way to a Sears or Circuit City where they sell the VX model. I almost bought a 37 inch from Walmart and was glad I didn't when I discovered this.
