Because speaking for myself already being a multi-console owner I don't want a dozen, or so consoles connected to my TV in order to play every game I want to play, or own. Case in point with my Series S it is really nice having just one box to play everything Xbox from current gen to many Xbox...

Unless I am already familiar with the game, I always do. I also always check the download size, and check YouTube videos. While there's definitely some hidden Indy gems to be had for some of these sub-$1 fire sales (Xeodrifter for example), there's also a lot of shovelware that goes on sale too...

BTW, bugs me how everyone keeps calling Switch games "carts," or "cartridges." These are game cards, or cards, like the DS/3DS/Vita before them. Not exactly same thing. They have more in common with a SD card than they do cartridge of old, like the 2600, NES, SNES, Genesis, N64, etc. 

I think the Switch will be fine. It obviously does not have the casual appeal of the Wii, let alone DS, but it's almost guaranteed do better than the Wii U, and it's already off to a better start/ than that of the 3DS, which had a terrible launch, but went onto to be a solid hit for Nintendo...

Unless you looking to earn cash, or have a collector's mindset, there's little to nothing to regret in your decision, as most of the good Wii U exclusives have been or will probably be released for the 3DS and/or Switch.

I guess you could make that bet, but it could just as likely we get a RM for GTA 4 instead. In either case, if GTA 4 does become BC, I'm sure it will be on sale again at some point down the road.

IDK, but I which every major publisher had a option like EA Access for both consoles.
