Nope!!! You only get 10% and so forth the regular price. I was at one store doing a liquidation sale where the manager said that they received all the inventory from closed stores. I looked at the piles of games and saw a bunch of $14.99 and under games. It seems like BBV knows they can get...
I actually use regular batteries....only because I bought a bunch of Kodak ones for 29 cents during the BBV clearance sales. I don't know if I'll even use them all by 2016 (when they expire). I also still have some Duracell batteries from the guitar hero bundles I bought from Kmart after...
I've noticed with this round of closings many of the employees state that their store is being closed due to the landlord either raising rent or unwilling to budge on lowering the rent. The same info was used during the Hollywood Video closure. Is that info BS?
Was thinking the same thing since HB is the one that made all this info available. I can't imagine how it would feel when the majority of the thread talks about how they will no longer be saving a couple of bucks when at the same time hundreds could be losing their jobs.
Best Buy isn't doing so well according to recent articles. GameStop may be the only one left since gaming is a huge market which they specialize in!! We shall see.... either that or they'll all turn into online retailers like circuit city (saves cost all around)!
I didn't get the first Dance Central in hopes the one on their outlet will be back in stock (very unlikely, also strange it's in stock via another link at a higher price) for $9.99. Also used this and added $50 worth of games to use the $100 5 for 100 reward.
Saw this on fatwallet and bought a few games. There are some good games for $10 each. Don't get confused by the buy 2 get 1 since it's actually 3 for $30 (create your own bundle):
I purchased: Pinball Hall of Fame, Plant vs. Zombies & Red Dead Redemption: Undead...
One store swore they needed that piece of paper after I mentioned that the other stores just typed in my info and set up my trade account on the computer, without any paper work. The employee (assistant manager) called the store manager who walked him through it on the computer without any...
I know for a fact that buying Visa Gift Cards can trigger a red flag. Amazon KC's seem to be ok. A store manager saw I was purchasing $1200 in KC's, after the cashier mentioned it to him, and he said it was fine.
