To be completely honest, Firefly is one of the cult classics of TV shows, and quite possibly Joss Whedon's finest work (I personally enjoy Buffy the most). Because of that, Fox can do whatever they want.

The problem with the liquidation is that it's 20% off of MSRP, which is the manufacture suggested retail price... so you buy a DVD at Best Buy for 9.99 and it's 14.99 at Circuit City-you take 20% off of 14.99 and it's still more than what you'd be paying at Best Buy. Wait it out. I'll be buying...

Best Buy had OC on sale for 19.99 a few weeks ago. Just wait until it goes on sale again (all four seasons were 19.99 [maybe it was 17.99, can't remember]). I picked up all four seasons at that time and the sales aren't that rare.
