Because in Vanilla Skyrim that wasn't possible, however you had the chance to become a Werewolf 2-3 times by Aela and as long as you didn't cure Serana she could turn you into a Vampire all the time.

That's another reason why I delayed playing Oblivion first....when I finished Skyrim the last time it took me 10 Months, and found myself distracted from getting all achievements by jumping from side quest to side quest (while picking up 8 others on the way to finish one lol) Also self imposed...

After seeing the Oblivion Remaster reveal, I did have to establish a priority, while both will be played at some point this is how it turned out xD

Also started Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 tonight and so far I'm really impressed, the game looks and plays fantastic, it took a few attempts to get the timing down with the attacks and dodges, but the enemies attacks are usually well telegraphed and gets easier quickly, the more you are used to...
