For anyone interested in loading up on Game Pass... Last two price increases were on July 6, 2023 and July 6, 2024... July 6...coincidence? :thinking:

I just learned the free DLC for Sea of Stars comes out on the 20th. A bit later than I wanted to start my playthrough but still a decent amount of time before it potentially leaves Game Pass at the end of August.

I usually don't bother with Vault stuff because it's so goddamn difficult to buy anything (worth buying) before the bots or everyone else. In a way, I'm happy Game Pass is priced that way because of the perception of poor value, hypothetically making it easier to get!

I managed to buy a refurbished 4070 Ti Super on a whim earlier this week because it was a "good" deal (given the shit GPU market right now) even though I didn't want one at this time because I'm still playing less graphically intensive games / my backlog / I don't buy games. I also passed on...

I think buying the artifact after buying the quarterly Dell rewards is a bit excessive because you really don't need the extra ARP at that point. Yep that's exactly what I'm saying! There's not much else to buy with ARP outside of the Game Vault and physical goodies I guess. As long as you can get the $50 DRP from the Marketplace every quarter then you're already making the most of the program.

Are you able to afford the $50 in DRP rewards every quarter? If not, then buy it. I'm currently using Chai Stones + PN295 + Scion of the Light and I'm able to buy the rewards every quarter so it's a bit overkill for me to buy the Arches.

I started Chants of Sennaar today and I already spent 3.5 hours on it 🤪 Shit is SLICK (albeit frustrating at times)!

Planning, planning, planning. It's all about time management. Helps if you don't have kids or a job or I guess 🤣 A nice nest egg helps too 🤪 I don't plan to stay subbed for long periods of time once my Game Pass runs out. If I were still in school, I'd just sub during the summers and binge shit...

You mean you'll play Expedition 33 first :) I think they have to stick with Creation for mod support. Admittedly, I'm not familiar with how moddable UE5 games are (outside of asset replacement). If they can't get rid of loading screens for Creation then I think they will eventually move to UE...
