Had this happen on my 360 two or three times, and yeah, you have to delete the file, then clear cache. In fact, it happened not too long ago with a corrupt Happy Wars update and I had to delete it entirely and clear, then redownload.

There's more to it than graphics though. I guess that's the difference. Games on the 360 play the same as the ones I've played on the X1. Slightly better graphics (and sometimes not even very noticeably so) just isn't worth a new console to me. A good game is a good game.

That's totally me. I don't like the Xbox One's digital licensing compared to the 360's. That's a biggie for me. And to be perfectly blunt about it I guess, I don't see enough of an advance in tech/quality from the 360 to warrant a new console. I don't buy a console every single generation...

The Switch will be crap because the games library will be crap.  Just like Nintendo consoles have been since the N64.  There is no mystery in this.  Moving hardware out of initial hype is fine briefly, but you then have to sell games to keep it going, and Nintendo fails miserably on that one...

This is a good point. I'd say it's pretty high. And anyone that has an interest in Tropico would do well to pick one of them up at those loooooow prices before it goes BC and prices start at like $15 or $20

Yeah I didn't realize it wasn't "Tropico stuff" and actually included games Tropico 3 and 4 for dirt cheap.  I may bite on 4.  I'd actually play that.

I don't think the requests are the problem. The fact the requests are incessant (from a very small portion of people) and they are rude about it to boot is the much larger problem.

Mass Effect 2 for PC is free on Origin right now.   Legitimately so this time.   It's part of their On The House. So if you missed whatever Twitter weirdness had it free a week or so ago, you didn't miss out.

Is it basically an MMO, first-person EV Nova then? I don't know if EV Nova rings any bells for anyone but.... as those kind of space games went, EV Nova was and still is beloved, even all these years later.
