They paid me $415 or so for a 5 year old PS5 a few months ago. People were just posting about the few fun errors where they were temporarily giving $90 trade credit for $20 games. It’s still possible. Average consumer your right though.

With how many free games are being given out on epic games store, prime gaming, gog, etc. I’m not sure there is much room for a cheaper alternative victor. In that scenario it would be the free service, or just playing cheap phone games on a device that most already have.

It is partly Nintendo’s fault. Combining handheld and home console was a great move, but for people that just want one or the other, you are paying at least $100 premium for features you do not want.
