Even though the weapons scale, whenever I found something I liked, I could use it for the next 5/10 levels. Borderlands 3.... What Destiny came off like, and failed. Battleborn needed more Borderlands too. Rogue Legacy and Axiom Verge are two that's on my radar. Just haven't bitten yet.
