After further reading I'm pretty disgusted that I can't play my son in a chase game. Why would they do some thing stupid like this? Make stay home so they can play their friends? Bullsh*t!

Just bought my son a PS3 with new NFS. Kinda clueless to the whole system, but learning as I go. Please tell me that there is a setting to chase my son offline? I've read that there is not a 2 player offline mode. If that is true then that could be the stupidest thing I've heard. $40 bucks...
