Wow it seems like every store got cleaned out pretty quick. Was hoping to get at least A points card or subscription but no such luck. Will have to go in tomorrow and see if there are any games left. Anybody think they'll get restocked at all? I know it's a clearance sale, but it makes sense...

So are the games marked or do they just scan up? I've called all the stores in my area and none of them seem to have any idea what's going on with regards to a sale.

I think Scribblenauts will do very well, it's got a lot of marketing money behind it and support from all major retailers and websites. Plus it's directed at all ages and launches on the system with the largest install base and at a good price point. Still, even if against all odds it does bomb...

The stores in Kelowna BC don't do trades and still haven't had a 2 for 40 in ages.

What happens if you trade some high value games to get the extra credit and then just cancel your pre-order when the game releases to get that credit put toward something else?

Even at 560 it's a steal in my opinion. Can get frustrating (what games don't?) but is seriously addicting. Bought it at full price when first released and don't regret it.

Not sure if it makes a difference being EB as opposed to GS, but our store and all the surrounding stores do have different trade values for with/without books and case. I don't know if it works on a percentage, but for example most PS2 games get about $2 in trade if they're complete and only...

Yeah I noticed that as well that used games (like NHL 09) that were $24.99 a week ago are $49.99 now.

Actually Mirror's Edge is $19.99 new at EB and $14.99 used. I'm not 100% for right now but that's the price they were when I last did price changes a week or two ago.
