This is so tempting, I'm checking on it several times a day to see if it drops to $79.

$79 would be my "must bite" price point. Hopefully they take it down to $79 before it goes out of stock. Or maybe if amazon gets more in stock and they price match it, I'd buy it instantly.

That may depend on your sound card and what you use them for. I bought these today from toys r us for $29.99 and connected them to a PC as soon as I got home. The computer has integrated sound, tried a music video on youtube and a few music mp3's, I was very disappointed with the sound level...

True, I wouldn't either. But if it could have at least worked via a 3.5mm audio jack it could have worked with the 360 and any other device that can be plugged via 3.5mm jack.

well, the answer is NO, amazon will only make adjustments within 7 days. It's definitely been more than 7 days since the U3 console came out. Oh well.

Snagged one new copy. The first store I went to tried to sell me an open copy as new, i told the guy I don't want it and to call another store to find an actual shrink wrapped copy. I had to drive to another store for the sealed copy, but I was already going in that direction anyway.
