Official Final Fantasy III DS thread

This is kind of the only place that the guide really came in handy. Only click on the following if you want to see the recommended FAQ job structure and boss strategy for the last boss. Small hint: Larger explanation: Having explained all that, though, she still wasn't very difficult.

w00t! beat the game! it sucks how I would've never picked up the game again if I'd died somewhere in there.

Job leveling is nice but not really that necessary, IMO. Sure a lvl 80 is more effective than a lvl 15 or 20, but the end-game classes are just so powerful it's worth it (again imo). I was reading FAQs and most tend to recommend the Devout over the Sage. Not really sure why, as the Sage can use...

No, out of battle you can select "formation" and then 'double click' the guy (select the guy twice) and they'll move to the back or front row and stay like that in battles. They take 1/2 the physical damage but also deal 1/2 physical damage, unless they wield bows or boomerangs. Magic does the...

Yeah... I've killed 2 Red Dragons. I've had to use Arise several times, but it wasn't that bad. Like I said I'm hitting for about 20k per round (Knight 7k, Summoner 7k, Ninja 6k). You can also run away... I think you really should tweak your jobs, though. Geomancer isn't that useful to me...

Are you really having problems at that level? My guys are lvl 53 and I'm pretty much easing my way through the Crystal Tower. I had a high level Geomancer and Thief (70ish) that I converted to a Ninja and Knight when I got the high level weapons in Eureka. My other two are Devout (mainly for oh...

How do I clear the memory in Elite Beat Agents?

Canned Heat on 2 star was a big bitch for me the first hour or so, but after you beat it once, you can pretty much always beat it. The first section was the hardest. I'm almost done with 3-star but I'm starting to play more FF3 again. Jumpin' Jack Flash and that other song... crap I forget...

Elite Beat Agents: Agents are go!

finally! i beat it. that stupid chain was to follow the dumb guitar solo. they change up the rhythm a lot -- sometimes it's on drums, sometimes it's on vocals or guitar or keyboard... or in the case of Canned Heat... nothing.. lol

Elite Beat Agents: Agents are go!

i'm stuck EXACTLy there too... I get perfect up until that point.. then I miss like 10 in a row. Canned Heat was kinda hard for a while, but after I got the hang of the first couple scenes it wasn't too bad.

Yeah I'm sure. I'll test it again -- I haven't played FF3 for a few days now, but I distinctly remember my Black Mage and Geomancer pwning everything in 1/2 of a round. With their higher Agility my Viking and Knight would still be in attack stance, but they'd still get a job level increase.

Official Final Fantasy III DS thread

No that's what I'm saying. My guys will Attack and not attack, and my Geomancer will kill everything, but my guys who didn't attack will get a job level increase. I've seen this many times. Like I've said, though, my Geomancer is around lvl 35 while my other guys are about 30.

For the one-hit-kill scenario... even if everybody just "Guards" they can get job level xp. Also... when my Geomancer was killing everything, I'd still get more job XP for my slow-ass Knight and Viking. After a while I'd notice that the Knights wouldn't be as high (like 25 vs. 30) but they'd...

Official Final Fantasy VI Advance Thread. Release date: 02/05/07

psh, I never used any of those cheats... in fact I don't even know of that running away cheat, and Vanish/Doom? Beat it once with it, then forgot about it and beat it the 2nd time on Emulator. Man I loved that game. Had Ultimate weapon and had Ultimate on almost every character. And you guys got...

As for jobs... I haven't played much lately but I just met up with Doga and let him go... I actually forgot what they told me to go to (something about Underwater) so I'm probably gonna look on GameFAQs for reference (again... sigh i hate using it). Do you guys usually have 2 fighters or 3...

Yeah I tried sending one to like 5-6 people who listed their codes, but they were all grayed. Has anybody gotten a successful FF3 mail out?? It seems batty because you don't connect to DS WiFi unless you're talking to a moogle...

Also, can somebody explain their job strategies? I've been reading some guides here and there and it almost seems like they change jobs every scene. For me there's usually like a 5-10 battle adjustment phase, and apart from that my Knight and Black Mage are at pretty high levels and seem to be...

There's one class that you get with Mognet. Other than that I'm not too sure.
