I bought call of duty 4 yesterday brand new and everytime i play it, the game makes my 360 much louder than usual. Almost like it is constantly loading does anyone else have this problem? its the game of the year edition if that makes any difference

I was about to buy CoD 3 today and was wondering if the online play is as good as 2? Also, do very many people still play that game?
