i have fallout 3 and since i've only bought 1 dlc (broken steel) i feel like i'm not losing too much money trading it in to get the goty edition later this year. will my save data i have of the regular version carry over with the goty edition?

i have littlebigplanet but not the case for it. i've searched ebay, but they only have the blank case and not the slip in it that represents the actual game. is there a way to buy the littlebigplanet game case, or can i somehow make one of those slips to put into an empty case? any ideas are...
