Best price?

If I am trying to buy a game right when the deal starts, do I have to just add it to my cart or do I have to checkout quickly as well? What I mean is can I keep adding more stuff or will the deal possibly sell out while I am doing that?

Should I try to exchange it somewhere for the 360 version? I have heard that the PS3 version is full of bugs and nearly unplayable. I don't have a receipt because it was a gift.. What are my options.
