Just got my $10 refund. That was the fastest reply I have ever received from Amazon. They started out with some foreplay about my order not qualifying, slowly working their way into the hot, steamy... giving me my mother fucking $10! I would rather have the refund than the gift card that expires...

Just got my rejection letter... Quickly replied with threats of returning the game for a refund. It is frustrating that they are giving us the run around. The game is already on eBay for ~$45!

I preordered Batman AA @ $51.99 - $5 coupon code = $46.99 with free super saver shipping (I'm really cheap), got the free comic book (likely a small artbook), and $5 mp3 credit. Emailed to complain and ~10 hr later received an email replied that I would be receiving the $10 GC promotion...

Preorders from amazon got $5 instant savings, a comic book, and $5 worth of mp3's. Better than $10 GC imo.

It stands to reason that any game, over a decade after its release, that can still create a response such as this from its fans is worth the cost of admission. Moveover, any attempt by Square Enix to bring more of the FFVII franchise to the masses should be supported.
