Try price matching in person at Target. They didn't give me any flack for it at all. They even said out loud, it's showing out of stock before they said sure.

Got my local Target to price match Silent Hill 2 for $30 even though WalMart is showing OOS. Red Card + an old $5 gift card was a nice bonus too!

I'll consider picking up Death Stranding if it hits $40 physical in stores as well. GCU discount might just be enough to push me over the edge.

Took trying with 4 different reps, but I finally got Best Buy to price match after checking out with the $25 gift card. 

Yes they still have the metal contacts and work perfect with the charging station I picked up at Fry's for $35.

I've only used it with Discover, but I imagine the process is similar. Just call customer service to start the claim. Fill out a document. Attach receipts and the ad you're matching. And the check is in the mailbox in ike 2 weeks.

Purchase with a credit card that has price protection.  Then use that to price match later if the deal is only happening at a store different from the one you purchased at.
