    New Years Gaming Resolutions?

I decided a long time ago to rent first, buy later. That right there has saved me a small fortune. I gamefly everything I play and then, if it's so bad ass I have to own it I'll just do the keep it thing. With gamefly and game purchases last year I came in right around $500/$600 for the whole...

What the hell happened to gamefly?

dude, we can't help you. drop them an email if your having a problem with a game shipping. I consistently get my games in 2-3 days from gamefly. In fact I got MW2 yesterday after adding it to my que only last week! I'm thinking about upgrading to 3 disc plan for the holidays now that I have...

    GameFly & FastReturn

Not for me. I've been with them 3 years and speed has improved, it normally takes gamefly 1-2 days to my return and they send out one that day or the next.

    GameFly & FastReturn

For me shipping is fast enough (2-4 days). Most of the time I get an email from gamefly the day after I drop a game in a box. So that has to be fast return. Maybe try drop the game directly at your po? But I haven't had any issues and I've been a member for years. For me it's about getting a...

More cheap ass: Buy vs. Rent

I used to just buy used games from gamefly before I signed up for renting, prices are right even if you dont rent. But now Im totally down with renting year round after i compared the cost. $20/month I get all I can play normally about 4-5 a month and dont get screwed anymore buying games that flop.

    lcd or plasma?

Correct me if I'm wrong: but LCD's slowly start getting dimmer the second first turned on. With Plasma, this doesn't happen.

More cheap ass: Buy vs. Rent

Oh I forgot about trading, sorry to exclude that. Haven't tried Goozex, but not getting new releases for 4-6 months would not work for me. Gamefly turns out to be only about $3-4 a games anyway. Sometimes I go through a lot other times not many, it all balances out. Last game I bought was Fifa09.

Punch Out Wii - General Discussion and Info

I enjoyed Punchout. Totally nostalgic. I used to have the handheld game. It's a natural for the Wii and good characters. I rented it for a couple weeks, almost bought it but then decided to return it.

More cheap ass: Buy vs. Rent

Being the cheap ass i am, always have to go with the best deal. I've gone through the hassle of selling and getting cheap used games via ebay & craigslist, rigged auctions and spam, no thanks. That said now I rent, gamefly all the way. Buyers don't freak out on me, I still own some, I end up...

    How is GameFly these days?

It's refreshing to hear an opinion from someone who's actually had the service for more than a month. That said, I'm surprised. I mean, they've done nothing but grow and expand their suite of services. It's pretty much been a steady pattern from the get go. Sure, there have been some bumps in...

    How is GameFly these days?

Yeah, I see what you're saying. But then it isn't like you're locked into one game a month or anything. You can cycle through as many as you can in that time frame and, depending on what plan you use that could add up.

    How is GameFly these days?

Yes, it's true that you can cancel right online but honestly, if you're only going to use it for 15 days and then cancel you're not really giving it a chance. I'm not sure why anyone would do that but it's not a difficult process if you must.

    How is GameFly these days?

Yeah, I've heard about Netflix doing that in the past but again, I have never had any issues with them either. I hear about this stuff and I use gamefly and netflix religiously and have never once had a problem with either one. I'd keep hounding customer service about it. In the end they are...
