I suggest using an authenticator app. I use google authenticator with Humble. It might also support others since they used to support Authy, which I used to use.

I wanted to share a warning that GOG lets you redeem an Amazon Prime freebie code when you already own the game and you don't seem to get a gift copy by email or anything. I forgot I had Deus Ex GOTY and tried the AP code only to realize later I already owned it from a purchase years ago.
