Which seems odd to me since Steins;Gate and all the rest are there. Ah well. I like trophies, but the portability is hard to ignore for a game like this.
Final Fantasy 7-9 on the Switch didn't get a physical release until much later, so if Play Asia doesn't have one up by now for Chrono Cross, there probably won't be one for awhile. They may wait for another remaster (maybe Chrono Trigger?) and bundle together down the road.
Is the NISA store website being insanely slow for anyone else? Took me multiple tries to get logged in and actually pre-ordering is really lagging too.
I don't mind if a game has a lot of content (like tons of side quests, post game, etc), but if the main narrative goes on for too long, it feels like a chore. I love Persona 5, but the almost 80+ hours I sunk into that felt excessive.
Yuji Horii seemed to let slip that I & II was going to be remade in that style too, but he wasn't supposed to talk about it. I would love to see the whole series redone in the style to be perfectly honest.
Interesting that DQXII will be "for adults" and may potentially alter the command system...
The Dreamcast one is clunky and probably has not aged well (though it had some cool moments). I really liked the PS4 game, though I'm a big fan of Musou/Dynasty Warriors titles in general. There's not a lot of content in it, but you can probably get it used for real cheap at this point...
I can only speak to Chaos;Child, but the price that it's at on Rightstuf right now ($12.99) is the lowest I've personally ever seen it and where I bought in at. As for the Essentials label that you see on some FUNimation shows, I don't think they're bad at all. They're usually a cheaper way to...
BD2 still has not shipped from Best Buy and I actually got an email that it's been delayed. I would just go to the store and pick one up curbside, but BD2 was one of the last pre-orders I got with GCU.
Yeah I got my coaster and placemat yesterday and I just looked at my order now and it still says getting ready for shipment. I'm not that upset about it as I got Persona 5 Strikers earlier this week and I'm working through that first anyway, but if I was wanting to play over the weekend I'd be...
Cowboy Bebop is a great entry point as its format is very western in nature, so it makes it a bit easier to dip your toes in. Also, any Studio Ghibli movie (though Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away are the best ones imo).
