not sure what prices are like in your area but a Wavebird for $5 would be something akin to winning a small lottery here.

yeah, I'm with you there. $20 for a last-gen controller, wireless or not, just seems crazy to me. of course, Vintage Stock sells them for $35 and that seems to be the going price on eBay so who knows. I do believe I'll scour the local thrift stores around here prior to settling on one though.

so my repaired (replaced?) console is on it's way back to me according to the Repair Status site. I got the email saying it was repaired but I never got an email saying that it had been shipped. the Repair Status site doesn't list a tracking number, is it worth calling over? or can I expect...

joining the club I guess. submitted the request this morning :wave: it was weird though...over the weekend it started freezing periodically with distorted picture and sounds, sometimes the controller would be stuck vibrating. the system would only respond to the power button to turn it off...
