MSRP is $50. It's on sale at Best Buy (and price matched at Amazon) for $35 for another 3 hours or so.

You'd have to pull it out, put it in a computer, and use Samsung Magician. My computer is old and doesn't have an M.2 slot, so I had to use a PCIe adapter to do it.

Looks like it's the 2TB model of the 980 Pro people have been reporting issues with (although I did read an article that said the 1TB could be vulnerable to it as well, but I saw tons of people reporting 2TB failures online and zero 1TB reports). The firmware fix has been out for over a year...
