I got the same one for $450 in June. I say go for it. It's a great T.V, for the price it can't be beat. Even the small complaints that it did get on the website held no truth for my T.V. Definitely buy.

Just had mine stolen tonight. I'm pretty pissed. I'm not really jumping on spending another $200-$250 on one, but, it's definitely an essential piece of my life. So, does anyone know of anything going on, or a place that every so often has deals that come with gift cards that I should wait for?

I'm usually the most skeptical person when it comes to buying "cheap" electronics when they usually come for $50+. I bought an HDMI cable from Monoprice for like.. $5 total after shipping. Strongly recommended, and for the skeptical, trust me, I'm the same way. But this place saved me a ton.

His old one is a piece of garbage any way, probably about 6-8 years old. It has like 8 gigs of hdd space and like half a gig of ram, he's due for an upgrade anyway, which is why even the bare minimum of what is out today would work for him.
