    yes rc it does,i hate to say it but all these ppl are INCORRECT the sega saturn DOES play sega cd games,,,and it gets better,sega cd games had NO COPY PROTECTION,so the sega saturn will play backup copies of the sega cd disks ,,NO MOD NEEDED,,,I HAVE A SEGA SEGA SATURN 03-21-09 TODAYS DATE...
