Thirded. It didn't really look like my thing, but I downloaded the demo out of curiosity and ended up buying the whole thing an hour later. Lots of fun. :)

I picked it up yesterday and played a couple of games. If you're familiar with the original it plays almost identically with some upgraded graphics (though you are given the option to use versions of the original sprites, which is kind of fun). It has several different game modes and even a...

Nothing for me today. Pretty interested in Singularity, Transformers and Need for Speed... but those sales aren't sale enough to get me to open my wallet. Oh well. At this point I'm happy to not feel compelled to have to jump on must-buy deals. :)

It doesn't even need to be an alternate email, by the bye. You can email the gift directly to your Steam registered email address and it works fine. I've used this trick to reserve cheap copies of games I intend to gift later on down the road and it works great. When you choose to re-send the...

Read up on Batman's implementation of securom. It's not bad at all. I normally won't touch a title with securom in it, but even I read how it works in AA and decided that I could live with it. It's five activations per month that refresh on their own (though you can always manually revoke). So...

Nothing for me today, I don't think. Two weeks is a long sale and I need to pace myself. Though I *do* need the final Borderlands DLC, that at an indeterminate point in the backlog and I suspect we'll eventually see Sam & Max for less than $10. Again, possibly before I would have gotten to it in...

Yeah, it's a pretty good pack. I kinda glossed over it because I already own all of its pieces. I can recommend most of those games, though. And the ones I can't are mainly because I haven't sunk any time into them. :)

They're mostly pretty solid, IMO. Or at least each pack tends to have at least one game that justifies a $5 price point for itself and the extra goodies. Fright, Future and Kids look best to me. Flight and Beats also look very good, but I own most of those already so they get a pass. The only...

It was also $2.50 last Thanksgiving. That's probably what you're thinking of. :)

@momouchi : $2.50 is the lowest I've seen it on sale on Steam since the LucasArts catalog was introduced. It's a fairly meaty RPG, and unless it ends up in some kind of bundle I don't see how the price could get very much lower on it.

Altitude - A fun little 2d plane combat game that handles quite a bit like the biplanes game on the Intellivision back in the day if you ever happened to have played that. It has a little touch of the CoD style unlocks system in how you open up new planes and weapons and such. A variety of game...

Whereas I finally got around to World of Goo earlier this year and it earned a permanent place as one of my all time favorites. A few of the puzzles are pretty difficult, and I think I did consult youtube on one of them, but the game also gives you a number of skips. So if a stage is too...
