Word is that there is indeed a minor clearance event tomorrow. As always no details yet. There was a :ps3:motocross game that for some reason generated a sticker early. I forgot the exact title but it's normally 59.99 and the sticker said 29.99. It doesn't ring up yet so check back tomorrow.

I doubt other stores will do it, they claim they lose money on them as much as Sony. We'll at least they don't make money. They'd rather you bought the PS3 at Target, cost Target the 100 bucks and came to them for games and other stuff.

This is weird. Does anyone know why Target is doing this? I've read speculation about inventory levels and possibly new SKU's but that doesn't make too much sense. My local Target doesn't have a single PS3 in the stock. It seems almost like Target is going to stop carrying the PS3 in the stores.
