You need to find a new source because that is complete fiction. The only hold that happens on used products is related to local pawn shop laws. These vary from store to store.

We do get discounts but you are correct that there is a break point that first class can become cheaper than media mail. A comparison is made at the time we are shipping the cheapest method is used. But we spend a lot more money shipping video games than we do on the other media products...

There is a big difference. DVD's qualify for Media Mail rates from USPS. Video Games must be sent First Class. So the same size Video Game is more expensive to ship than a DVD, Music or Book.

goHastings does not charge until all items have shipped. These are authorizations only. I'm not sure why there is more than one but if you had any trouble checking out then it would could have tried to authorize multiple times. But it will not actually charge for more than what we ship. John
