50% trade bonus worked for me today without having to pre-order anything. Traded in GOTG for PS5 and got $30.40.

Traded in a ton of Vita & PS4 games - all with a base value of $2 or more. Put the credit towards Animal Crossing preorder, an already released game - tokyo mirage on switch, and put the rest on a gamestop card. All the games I traded in retained the +5 bonus.

Does anyone know if all the trade credit + bonus needs to be used on a pre-order or can any remaining credit after a pre-order be applied to an already released game? Also, has anyone tried trading in any Vita games?

It should be any pre-order. In fact, I pre-ordered the Yakuza Collection & the Bayonetta & Vanquish Bundle using the $5 bonus. Also, it's not limited to just one game per pre-order, you can use multiple games + bonus for each on a single pre-order. I'm basically getting both for no money...
