Megazell, funny enough I just picked up a new multimeter a little while ago and it's sitting in the office unopened. What exactly am I checking on the mobo with it though? I have already unplugged everything outside the case (network cable, anything USB, etc), I will start unplugging...

I can't put it back in. But it had the problem just before I removed the old processor as well.

I stated exactly what it does...powers on and then does NOTHING. It's not going into BIOS, it's not doing anything. I've tried the display with both the video card and the onboard video...nothing...there is no video output at all either...so in my mind it isn't doing anything...mobo problem then?

I've got a Seagate 500GB portable drive that I mostly use with my HP desktop, but occasionally we connect it to the MacBook Pro to use for movie viewing...I have had no problems...I haven't had to do anything with the hard drive or with the Mac to make it work...All of my movies are in .ISO...
