CAGcast #704: Don't Look In The Doody Hole

Not sure if it's been brought to Wombat's attention but Ghosts is a current BBC show and all three seasons can be seen on HBO Max. Though I have not seen the US version it appears to be the same show.

I'd like to know Shipwreck's take on the Gose (Pronounced Goe-Zuh) style of beer. If you are not familiar with them they are sour beers brewed with sea salt. I love them but a lot of people think they are disgusting.

    CAGcast #633: Happy Birthday Wombat!

I watched the entire season of "Never Have I Ever" after Cheapy posted about it on twitter. Thanks for the recommendation. It's similar to shows like Ugly Betty or Jane the Virgin except it's based more in reality (Ugly Betty and Jane the Virgin had some zany over-the-top soap opera moments).

Cheapy. . . do you find it odd that all of the charming Overwatch characters kill each other?  There is a harsh contrast between the design of the characters/levels and what you actually do in the game.

    CAGcast #504: Poop Dreams

Has there ever been a movie that Wombat raved about? I've been listening to the cagcast for over 8 years and I can't recall one. The biggest compliments he gives movies are "Good", "OK", or "Fine."  If there hasn't been a movie that made you say "That was GREAT" then perhaps movies aren't for you.

From what I remember of Mario Kart 8 on the WiiU was that you had to unlock most of the characters and tracks. It is sorely missed in the Switch version

It seams that I owe Shipwreck an apology. I thought that his take on the construction of the Switch Joycons was too harsh. Well. . .my left joycon now removes from the switch without having to push the button. It just slides right off.  You were right, I will never doubt your engineering mind again.

    CAGcast #492: Iron Fisted

The worst apology is the type that Cheapy suggested. "I am sorry if you were offended" is NOT an apology.  It passes the blame onto the person who was offended. A real apology is "I am sorry for saying X/Y/Z."

CAGcast #489: The Legend of Robutler: Uncle Paulie's Breath

I've been listening to your podcast for 8 years now. . . I consider myself a big fan. With that said, I realized that you guys have been harping on the negative more than most gaming sites lately. It's almost like you look at something and say to yourself "What is wrong with this?" Don't get me...

    CAGcast #488: Unready for Launch

I think the producer is wrong :) He actually should have said it was true. . . it would have made the movie better.

Shipwreck. . . Totoro makes more sense when you find out that Totoro is the Grim Reaper and the girls die at the end of the movie. I'm not making this up. . . http://kotaku.com/the-scary-theory-that-totoro-is-the-god-of-death-5926248

I agree that it is preposterous that Cheapy's maid would hook up his PSVR.  His House Steward would order his Butler to instruct one of his Footmen to do it.

I am about a 1/3 of the way through reading Console Wars (Actual Printed Book Form) and while I am enjoying the book quite a bit, there is one thing doesn't work for me. In the "Author's Note" section it states the following “In certain situations, details of settings and description have been...

Not to bore you with specifics but it would cost significantly more to repackage old box sets than starting from scratch. CD Reproduction is cheap. Additional Handwork and Collecting/Shipping the old products back is EXPENSIVE.

I remember standing in line in NYC to  pre-order a wii and feeling embarrassed when people asked me why I was in line. I cannot imagine how I would feel if I had to tell them it was for Big Mac Sauce. :)

    CAGcast #484: Name That Outrage!

Regarding your Best Buy discussion . . . In the past 6 months or so I have been purchasing less games at Best Buy despite being a Gamer Club Unlocked member. The reason is that their stores are no longer reliable when it comes to having titles in stock. Their game shelves are less than 50%...

    CAGcast #479: Oy Vey

I would have agreed with Shipwreck's assessment of Mario Run until I actually played the game. Prior to launch I went in thinking that I was going to spend the ten dollars (Done Deal). I played about 10 minutes of the demo and I don't think I'll be playing it any more. I wanted to love the game...
