Tried to use the 15% off Gears coupon from the December OXM today on the regular edition and it would only ring up as a discounted Collector's Edition. Tried to explain to the clerk the 15% off should apply to both versions but they can only go by what comes up on their registers.

Microsoft did several Xbox bundles with third party games... Sega GT/Jet Set Radio Future Star Wars:Clone Wars/ Tetris Worlds NCAA Football/Top Spin(Microsoft published) so non-MS titles aren't an impossibilty.

I was up at the Walmart in Skokie,IL and I saw these on one of their CLEARANCE end caps. They started out marked at $20 last week and went down to $15 and now they're only $12.

This is a mistake, but it's cool that they're honoring it. All of the other games shown in the deal are ordinarily $20 and it was probably supposed to be Platinum Hits Ghost Recon or GR:Island Thunder. In next week's KMart ad, Ghost Recon 2 is listed for Xbox/PS2 for $49.99.
