Do the Windows Store gift cards work on Xbox? Or does it need to be the Xbox gift cards? I miss MSP...

I've used 2 MSP cards from Best Buy since then, from the $5 and $10 credits they gave me, no tax on either end. Xbox Live Rewards credit also redeemed tax-free for me.
