One thing i haven't thought about is that i hope Tesco's have plenty of points cards. Will be annoyed if i have to pay full price for my pre-order because they ran out of those.

FYI, my wife was kind enough to pre-order BlOps for me at Tescos. The pre-order (supposedly) guarantees you a copy for 3 days.

Hmmm do you think that getting a pre-order is the best idea then? I'm assuming that pre-orders will save your copy even if you don't go at midnight? (i.e. i might just pop in on tuesday day time)

OK this might sound like a really stupid question but what's stopping anyone buying the gamestation game deal, and just returning the other game? I imagine thy would have thought of this but i can't find anything in the description that would indicate this isn't possible.

Can anyone tell me what Tescos Entertainment are like for release date deliveries? Think that they might be the best ones to go with as i'm not sure i can be bothered hunting the bargain in supermarkets.

*Shakes fist at all the people living in hope!* Sometimes i don't know why i bother bargain hunting with a game i really want, might as well just pay for a service i know will deliver on time (ShopTo, CoolShop etc.)

FYI, the Woolies deal has fallen through. So seems like i will be hunting the Supermarkets again. Will keep a close eye on this thread.

I wouldn't be surprised if Sainsbury's pulled that one again, exactly the same thing as they did for MW2.

FYI to all the people who say their order shows £45. Seems thats the norm as you will either have paid via paypal (£25 has already gone) or card (£20 should be refunded later, as per original deal description). If you have paid by PayPal then everything should be cool, as the original deal...

No change for me either, order is still marked as accepted. There is no point ringing up, tbh if it all goes wrong, worst case scenario is that you get money refunded and have to pop to the supermarket for the undoubted price war.

Hey all, just an FYI, i got into this deal when it was just the £25 one, and my order is still valid for now. I think those that have the £25 deal might be worth hanging on in there. Continued updates in this thread would be helpful for all i think.

I have no idea what they are like for delivery, everything seems to point to the release day though. If its anything like MW2 then the publisher issued an embargo on early deliveries so most of the larger shops would follow that, if the same was in place for BlOps.
