Apple iOS (iPhone, iPod, iPad) -- Ongoing Sales

This happened to me too, when I tried it via iTunes on the PC. It defaults to the iPhone version. Get another code and do it directly on the iPad and it will download the iPad version (and will be added to your library for future use).

Apple iOS (iPhone, iPod, iPad) -- Ongoing Sales

Yeah Dimensions is actually really good. It surprised me in the best possible way. I got the whole thing (all chapters) on sale, so they may do that again at some point.

Apple iOS (iPhone, iPod, iPad) -- Ongoing Sales

Can you post a link? An iTunes search turns up a bunch of similarly-named apps and it's unclear which is the one that's on sale.

Why would you want to play it on either? It's so boring and tedious and repetitive. No thanks.

Yeah but then you have to play Bioshock.

Damn, that didn't last long. Already back up to $4.99. Not even 14 hours.

I love the game. YMMV, of course, but if you like RPGs or turn-based combat, you should like it.

Should we allow Kickstarters in the VGD forum?

Seriously. He just can't let it go. Oh well.

Should we allow Kickstarters in the VGD forum?

Every question has some kind of a logical answer. No one needs to specify that only logical answers should be given (or, conversely, that none can). See CheapyD's own thread a few down on the first page, also asking for input/reasoning. I obliged.

Should we allow Kickstarters in the VGD forum?

Thank you. No circles though...I've been saying the same thing the whole time. The question was, "Should we allow Kickstarters in the Video Game Deals forum?" My answer: yes, based on the definition of "deals"...Kickstarters fit both the literal definition and the more colloquial one. So for...

Should we allow Kickstarters in the VGD forum?

I'm not advocating using the full definition of the word "deals"...I'm simply saying that's what it is. There is currently no clarity on how it is intended. So technically, yes, those would be included. But I think that would be a terrible idea. On the other hand, Kickstarter ALSO fits the more...

Should we allow Kickstarters in the VGD forum?

You left out the second part of the definition: an idea or opinion that is shared by all the people in a group. Source: http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/consensus which Google uses to show their definitions. The second definition: "group solidarity in sentiment and belief." Thus...

Should we allow Kickstarters in the VGD forum?

That is correct. "Majority" is not the same as "consensus". I don't think you understand the concept of logic. It is independent of any one person's perspectives. There is no "your logic" and "my logic". That is, by definition, opinion. Logic, OTOH, is objective and exists outside of anyone's...

Not sure what your point is.

Should we allow Kickstarters in the VGD forum?

Because popular opinion is not > logic except by very intentional choice. Also, 80% is, by definition, not "consensus".

Should we allow Kickstarters in the VGD forum?

You're right about that. And yet you continue to talk about it. The best part: "...everyone thinks your an idiot." Irony of ironies.

Should we allow Kickstarters in the VGD forum?

"When you're talking about published definitions and something that isn't opinion, then no, you're wrong." This is true. And the published definition of "deal" is available for anyone to read. So I'm not sure what the issue is here. And I have never...not once...referred to myself as Ghandi...

Should we allow Kickstarters in the VGD forum?

This would be true if the question has been directed to CheapyD, since he owns the site. The question was asked BY CheapyD. It is not logical for me to consider traffic as a factor. I gave input on whether it makes sense (to me) to allow Kickstarters on the deals page, and (again, to me)...
