Controls and combat had a ton of tweaks and quality of life improvements as well. So I'd place it somewhere in between. It's definitely the definitive experience, in my humble opinion.

As terrible as it was, I think the reboot/remake/whatever that was, was worse. People seem to hate Book of Shadows with a passion, but at least it had some form of a plot and was based upon actual events.

Usually it's an e-card that you can either print or plug into the appropriate box on the retailer's website. At least, this has been my experience with AMC Theatres & Starbucks redemptions.

It's short but enjoyable. It's just really more of the same gameplay in a new snowy level and helps to add some additional lore. Not sure it's worth the $5 considering the amount of content. Maybe the BC transition will prompt a sale soon though.

Honestly, if you're a big fan of the series, Ultimate Slasher edition might be a better investment. It has some exclusive content that never made it to the digital version.

Does it give a unique code or apply directly to your account? Last time I got Live, it was still a code. I haven't tested Live or Gamepass since the update to digital currency though. Thanks.
