It varies in Texas... Austin sits at 8.25% ;) To whomever said Florida doesn't have a sales tax... uh, perhaps you live in the boonies or something but when I lived in Orlando it was 6.25% iirc. Florida (and Texas) don't have state income taxes, so that might be what you're thinking of.

I was poking around Amazon UK earlier... if you are region-free can play Region 2 PAL DVDs they have Series 1 for ₤12.98, Series 2 for ₤16.98, Series 3 for ₤24.98, and Series 4 for ₤35.98. The series is filmed in PAL, so there would be no speedup. I highly suggest getting a region-free player...

It never was in-stock. I read over at DVDtalk that between DVDplanet and DDD they had 700 preorders, so all the stock they received before release went to fulfilling those. It'll probably be a couple weeks... but I can wait for $158. :)

For the last 4 boxsets I've waited till Borders sent a 40% off DVD Box Sets coupon out and got them that way (59.98 + tax apiece). But honestly... they come up on sale very infrequently. I'd try DDD or DVDplanet right now during their 25% off sale as probably your best best. Don't be surprised...

Why.. would you need... to format ... a hard drive ... that is already formatted. Explain how this makes sense? If it's an empty hard drive that is already formatted to whatever flavor file system the XBOX uses... what are the benefits of formatting except to slightly wear the drive's heads and...
