The Staples thing is crap, only games marked for clearance (with a 7 at the end of the price) are on sale. Only titles I saw were bargain bin trash that should have been below $10 in the first place.

I wonder what they're pulling here? Taking garbage for new releases doesn't seem like a winning business move. I wonder if they're just trying to bulk up inventory for accounting purposes.

Haven't shopped at EB in ages, but when did this $5 stupid tax thing start? Do they honestly think there are no alternatives to buy video games from? It's kind of baffling when they charge $5-10 more than Bestbuy and Futureshop; neither of which are small, obscure businesses. Are kids today...

I'm pretty sure that's just MS stupidity there. RE5 goes retail for $30 these days, and both Impulse and Steam have had a $10 sale on it. MS would apparently have you believe it's still $50 normally. I would bite on Dead Rising 2, but I'm fairly certain Steam will have it at that price or...

Too bad Steam completely blows away any of their PC game sales. Considering many AAA PC titles are Steamworks anyway, might as well just get them straight from Steam.

Is that really surprising? EB/Gamestop is pretty infamous at this point for a) never having sales and b) even when they do it's not much of a sale. The $10 Nier I got from them turned out to be a (heavily) used copy. Scratches all over the disc, clearly ripped stickers all over the front...
