Yeah that's the built in password manager. This is where KeePass comes in. You'll need to copy and paste the password from KeePass to your browser though. I also use it to store all my game keys (or at least the ones I can be bothered to keep a separate record of.)

I use that too (with firefox) but it doesn't work for high security things like internet banking and paypal and even if it did I wouldn't trust it for that sort of thing (or my steam password!)

Personally I use KeePass. It's doesn't have the automatic password entering features of some of the commercial programs, but it's free, open source and does everything I need it to do.
