Their prices are so ridiculous that the 50% off just brings prices down to near-amazon prices. $38.99 for the A-Team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LMAO!!! $31.99 for True Grit (2010) -- even with 50% off --- still more then I paid at Best Buy without any coupons. Insanity.

Haha -- I was gonna make a rapper comment but you beat me to it. :) I'm not sure why a serious cigar enthusiast would want a Scarface logo'd humidor. Seems to me, if you're gonna spend that money on a humidor, you'd get a classy one, not something Lil' John would be showing off on Cribs...

BBV had a sale on 99 Cent BD's a week or two ago. It probably deserved its own thread, as it was a pretty crazy deal, but we all just talked about it in here. They might do it again on 7/4.

From what I've gathered after googling it... Apparently some BBVs got boxes of BD's shipped to them specifically for this sale. Rumor is the highest-selling stores got them. I finally found a store about 12 miles away that is doing it, but they haven't put the discs out yet, probably tomorrow...

I called up 4 stores near me and none of them have even heard of the .99 BD sale. :(

Very cool, thanks for the responses, guys. Demand must be slowing down... I sent my dvd's in on March 29th, they received them on April 1st (April Fool's, yikes)... and charged my card on April 5th. Haven't received the new discs yet though... here's hoping for the next day or two. :)...

Hey all -- In your experience, when dvd2blu charges your credit card, does that seem to mean that they have shipped your order, or just that they have received your dvds?

FYI --- Got my copy of Near Dark for $6 today... inside was a $25 gift card for Sideshow Collectables. There was no sticker/advertising for it at all on the packaging.. it was just hangin' out inside the case. The card says 'horror in hi-def' so maybe the other horror discs have this as well...
