Thinking of Buying the Deus Ex collection, but only really interested in Deus Ex:HR, should I Just buy the solo game or are the DLC's worth getting as well?

After deleting ans reinstalling sleeping dogs, it will now no longer even get past the first screen that shows up when I press play, even at sub 5$ price tag this game is starting to become an annoying piece of garbage.

My laptop can run the game on high at a pretty much constant 35+ fps, but I get the crashes even on low settings with pretty much anything fancy turned off. Checked the steam forum, and there's a thread about the crashing, been going on since august or whatever with no real solution yet. So...

Well I guess the jokes on me, bought sleeping dogs during the price glitch and the damn thing has crashed on me at least 30 times.

Never really trust systemlabs, it is after all a site that makes money off linking you to upgrade sites, my laptop which can play a lot of games on max perfectly fine, isn't able to run a single game on min settings according to that site.

So, as someone who does not really have that much games, does anyone actually reccomend any of the publisher packs? Edit: The Ubisoft pack interests me, but wtf, no Farcry 3?

Teeny bit off topic,I recently finished Red Faction: Armageddon, and later on I tried to play again, but it's telling me that it needs to "optimize" the games configuration? And now I'm downloading "missing" files? Can anyone tell me exactly what Steam is doing?
