There are lots of shows I like to rewatch. I do Fullmetal Alchemist pretty often, both 2003 and Brotherhood. It's fun to rewatch Conan while benefiting from knowing everything that's going on. And then there's comfort shows like slice of life/iyashikei. You wind up seeing less new stuff, but...

I got that Black Friday standard size New 3DS for $100, and that's somehow one of the rarest models now. I do like the faceplate option; I bought some cool Zelda ones online.

I didn't decide to get a Vita until 2015 IIRC. The library was what finally sold me; it wasn't on my radar during its launch.

A price cut is not totally outside the realm of possibility. There was the 3DS which went from $249 to $169 just a few months after launch.

I've been reading Insomniacs; it's really good stuff. I love how every character feels natural and not like an anime cliché. I also like the author's art style; I read some of Fujiyama-san some time ago which is pretty similar, but after Insomniacs I feel like Fujiyama-san is just going to feel...

I don't really watch enough anime nowadays to have any subscriptions or keep up by season, but I do like having the free anime streaming channels on in the background while I'm doing other stuff. I'll occasionally see something that catches my interest.

Seems like people are starting to get upset about all this, and speculating and arguing with each other isn't going to help or change anything. Maybe we can just chill for a minute, and go back to our lives and the games we have.

Yeah, I was already not going to get a Switch 2 anywhere near launch, and there's not anything in particular that I'm looking forward to anyway. So much like in 2020, it's time shut 'er down and focus on what I've got for the foreseeable future.

2 hour battery was more or less the same as the OG 3DS. With the 3DS you had other third party options; a slightly better battery, a much better battery that made the system 30 percent thicker, or a charging grip. With the Switch you can always just play docked.
