Yea both controllers I tested were NES-004. So strnge it works on one port and not the other...

Ok, a quick update.  I just tested out another NES controller n NES port 1 and it works fine.  It's just weird that the NES controller that didn't work, works on the NES controller port 2. Also, for those that have the Retron 5, does your game indicator lights remain on even after you power off...
