Wow, you must have one hell of a Sears near you then. My local Sears is a falling apart crapshack with a revolving door of employees who either disappear because they were smart enough to leave or got canned because they were crap. Also bare in my kmarts suffice just as well.

I think the eGift cards are just weird. I remember a while back trying to buy them and getting a financing offer with my Amazon store card and it was a no go, but buying physical gift cards and getting a financing offer worked just fine.

From my understanding, it's not actually a glitch, as much as a purposeful change in policy.

Not a deal per say, but useful for those who do trade-ins or flips with them and hate being locked in with them. They offer Gamestop, Nordstrom, Starbucks, and various restaurants to name a few.

Last time an offer like this was going on or a Gamestop trade promo or something people had mention they were getting denied for trying to purchase a gift card with trade credit / gift card so beware YMMV.

UPC 0004497600 are the $5 certificates and all I've seen so far. You can photoshop or change numbers all you want, its the Certificate # that has the actual value, certificates and certifcate #s are tied directly to My BBY member ID #s.  The certificates can be redeemed from your smartphone...
