No, definitely not a dead battery, it's fully charged. Plus, if I swap in another game, like animal crossing, it won't power off.

Got my ds lite on the release day, since then have been playing NSMB quite intensively... (both me and my wife). Couple days ago, the ds lite will power off by itself while playing. I googled to find that someone also has the same problems, some youtube video even shows a ds lite resetting...

I got the hori protector and the multi pouch from play-asia, i have nothing to complain. Only thing is, if you order hori protector alone and use the cheapest shipping (just a bubble wrap envelope), i am not sure if the protector would be delivered in good shape.
