    Target Clearance Thread XXIV

Man, the mention of Night Stalker brings back memories! That and Tron on the Intellivision, with those crazy controllers that looked like phones (1-9 interface), where you had to slide the a little plastic-like sheet from each game into place to have an idea of the controls. It’s amazing how...

    Call of Cthulu ps4/xbox1 - $29.99 @ amazon

I honestly don’t know how ACG gets through as many games as he does, especially with his reviews running longer than most of the mainstream gaming outlets. If I had to keep that sort of pace, I would be burned out in a matter of months. Great for those of us looking for the hot take though.

    Call of Cthulu ps4/xbox1 - $29.99 @ amazon

Not disagreeing with you, but in your opinion, what are some of the better sites/sources/streamers for reviews?

PSN Weekly Deals - 7/9: PS Retro Sale! $4 Arcade Archive games, $14 Konami Collections, $5 Ikaruga, $10 Yakuza Kiwami, & More!

Anybody else think that perhaps the Sony engineers accidentally listed the majority of the games from the holiday sale in the first week, as opposed to releasing them more incrementally over the ensuing weeks? It just seems a little strange that the sale highlights each week (week 1, 2, 3, etc)...

PSN Weekly Deals - 7/9: PS Retro Sale! $4 Arcade Archive games, $14 Konami Collections, $5 Ikaruga, $10 Yakuza Kiwami, & More!

Just looked up Ikaruga, and it sounds interesting. Thanks for sharing. Adding it to the wish list now, probably to languish with the other games that will never get a sale. What’s one more game to clog up the wish list, right? It’s a shame that there’s not some sort of feedback mechanism for...

PSN Weekly Deals - 7/9: PS Retro Sale! $4 Arcade Archive games, $14 Konami Collections, $5 Ikaruga, $10 Yakuza Kiwami, & More!

It’s funny, going through my wish list now and there’s a handful of games that are years old and have almost never been on sale according to the PSPrices website. As examples, take Everything, The Turing Test, and Nuclear Throne (PS4 version). Everything got a 20% preorder discount but has...

Black Friday 2018 - The Big Thread | See You Next Year!

So for those wanting Spider-man cheaper, this week's B2G1 free at Target could be the best deal ($40, if the other two games are returned during the return window). I believe the extended, holiday return window should have started November 1st too. If Spider-Man ends up cheaper elsewhere, then...

    Best Buy Ad 10/7-10/13

It sucks that when the economy is considered to be 'good' there's usually worse deals to be had. Not wishing for hard times (obviously) but companies tailor their offerings in line with the consensus perception and try to make as much money as they can. In that light, I wouldn't be surprised to...

Teslagrad PS4/PS3/VITA CROSSBUY FREE FOR PSN PLUS USERS

Fair warning, if you're trying to platinum this game, there will be one part that will probably push you pretty close to chucking a controller. It involves racing one of the game's collectibles up a vertical shaft and dodging through a gauntlet of arcing electricity. For those who play this and...

    Gold/Ultimate Editions $59.99 @ Target.

Walmart ended up being super useful a few weeks back when Target was running the BOGO 50% off. I got lucky finding gold editions for AC Origins, Shadow of War, and SP and paid $22.50 apiece for AC and Shadow of War and $15 for SP. Before that sale, I was fairly certain I was gonna skip AC and...

PSN Weekly Deals - 4/10: Rockstar Sale! $20 Owlboy, $14 Aegis Defenders, $10 Thimbleweed Park, & More!

I've never fully understood why June and July are mostly dead for bigger releases. I mean, I get that the holiday season generally offers more opportunities for sales, but given other publishers' trepidation in releasing then, a good game could do really well with no other competition then. Sort...

PSN Weekly Deals - 4/10: Rockstar Sale! $20 Owlboy, $14 Aegis Defenders, $10 Thimbleweed Park, & More!

With everyone avoiding releasing on or after RDR2 date, September looks to be the new October this year. Dragon Quest XI, Spider-Man, and Tomb Raider so far--wonder if any other releases jump on the early bandwagon and choke each other out for sales.
