I prefer play magazine. Layout's great, reviews aren't too drawn out, and they have a pretty good section on anime. If you're old enough, the editor-in-chief was the same editor-in-chief for GameFan, my all time favorite mag when it was still around.

the "original" dvd version that came out a while ago has about the same video quality of the vhs version. whereas the platinum version has a much crisper video transfer with other artifacts cleaned up, not to mention all the extra goodies (ie commentary, blah blah blah). definitely go platinum...

Actually, you can save wherever you want. Just press "start" and you should see it as one of the options; I think it says "World Save" or something.
