Thanks for this post, didn't know the SF cab is available at Walmart online for that price. I haven't been keeping tabs on all the recent happenings. Can someone comment, is there a reason not to get this? I've always wanted to pick up a 2-player, 6 button cab in hopes of adding mods to it...

Hope you're right, otherwise, from an engineering perspective, it's a sign that they didn't think things through or....from a marketing perspective, they just quickly slapped something together.

Wait a sec, why does the Neo Geo bartop have 6 buttons?  Which Neo Geo game requires 6 buttons?

Although I don't own a single 1up arcade cabinet, I do feel obsessed as I've been trying to find a good deal a for a few weeks now. I do have a bartop that I'm building from a kit (w Jamma board), so at least I have that. This hobby ain't cheap!
