    The Wii U Pre-Order Thread - $349.99/$299.99 - 11/18/12

I bought 2 deluxe (via walmart layaway) on launch day and we've decided on an alternate gift for the second. I'm going to return it to walmart next week but if anyone in the Atlanta area wants it, I'll be happy to sell it to you at the price I paid ($370.96). Before anyone jumps all over me, I...

Funny. My walmart has a pile of white ones and not a black one anywhere. Such is life.

I wouldn't feel bad at all. If they put you through that drama and forget to put through the charge, that's on them. It's their responsibility to debit your payment options correctly.

The glass of water at the end is the best part. Smashing the console is brutal enough, but you just need that extra knife-twist to really get the point across. Well played.

Just walked through 24hr walmart about half an hour ago. Had 5 white systems and 3 black pro controllers in the glass case. I guess nobody wants the basic sets at all..

You probably have a shot. The stores with midnight launch generally get a LOT more units.

My best buy did the midnight 360 launch. They had a bunch at midnight and then another allocation for regular opening in the morning. You may be allocate one for the morning. I doubt you wouldn't get one if you preordered (although I never put anything past best buy anymore)

Depends on the store location and allocation. (clever, isn't that??) I jumped in line at Best Buy around 2am for the Wii and a few people came an hour before they passed out tickets and got one. I'd say about 32 were there overnight for 40 available units.

It'll get pushed back, though, no doubt. Happens every time there's a launch. They do that to increase the perceived value of the system and then push back the games that are coming out shortly after launch due to some excuse (lie).

Save 26% off used games with free shipping at EBgames.com/GameStop.com

    Well, stacking those two would not be 26% off technically - they are applied one at a time. Kinda like 10% off + 10% off = 19% off instead of 20. ($100 - 10% = $90, then - 10% again = $81) In this case, take a $100 item: $100 - 16% = $84. Then, $84 - 10% = $75.60 Thus, 24.4% off is correct...
